LISA EKDAHL

Lisa Ekdahl was born in 1971 (July 29th),
she's grown up in Mariefred, small town in Sweden .
In 1980, she entered music school (high school) in Sodertalje
and after graduated school,
she started her carreer in jazz club in 90's.
In 1994, she released the single "Vem Vet",
(means "Who Knows" in Swedish)
she became one of the most popular Swedish singers
thanks to this bossa-nova song.

In 1995, with Peter Nordahl Trio,
who played with her in the jazz club,
she released standard jazz album,
"when did you leave heaven".

She constantly released popular albums like
"Med Kroppen met jorden" (1996), "Bortom Det Bia" (1997)
and "Back To Earth" (1998 with Peter Nordahl Trio).

She married with Bill Ohrstrom, musician and her manager,
and gave birth to a boy, Miltin, in 1995.
Unfortunately they divorced in 2000.
(in Scandinavian countries,
many couples divorce under seven years after their marriage in general)
Lisa travels to the temple in north of India for meditation every year,
this is where she met the New Yorker musician, Salvadore Poe.
They fell in love......What a happy coincidence!
She released the album "sings Salvadore Poe" with her new husband in 2000.
And they do many concerts in Europe in 2001.

She's been in Japan for watch the Olympic games in Nagano. (1998)
At this moment, she had some mini-concerts in CD shops in Tokyo.
