GARMIN GPS の使い方

GARMIN GPS UPGRADE情報:

• 必要な機器の環境;
  下記の機器環境が GARMIN GPS のアップグレードに必要なもの:
  
  1. Com1またはCom2を有したIBM compatible PC
     
  2. PC Interface Cable。
     　　(ケーブルについてはGARMIN販売店もしくはGARMIN社販売部門へ問い合わせのこと。)
     

• 新しいファームウエアをアップロードする方法:
  
  1. ハードディスクの任意のディレクトリ(例　c:\garmin)にダウンロードした自己解凍形式のzipファイルを置きます。
     
  2. このディレクトリでダウンロードしたexeファイルを実行し解凍します。
     
  3. 空いているComポートにインターフェースケーブルを介してGPSを接続します。
     
  4. GPSの電源を入れ、インターフェース方法の設定が(Interface setup)が"GRMN/GRMN"であることを確認します。(なっていなかったら直す)
     
  5. DOSプロンプト画面で、前に解凍をしたディレクトリにcdコマンドで移動(例　cd c:\garmin)をし、アップデートプログラムのupdatesw.exeを実行します。
     
  6. アップロードの実行中はGPSの画面に"UPLOAD IN PROGRESS"と表示されます。実行には約3〜10分かかり、アップロードが終了するとGPSは自動的にリセットされ通常に立ち上がります。

  ・GPS 126 / GPS 128 software version 2.04
  
  This software is only compatible with GPS 126 / GPS 128 units with　operating software versions 2.00 to 2.03.
  
  ・GPSMAP 215/225 software version 2.05
  
  This software is only compatible with GPSMAP 215/225 units with　operating software versions 2.00 to 2.04.
  
  ・GPSMAP 235 Sounder software version 3.20
  
  This software is only compatible with GPSMAP 235, Sounder versions　3.10 to 3.15
  

　UPDATESWを起動すると、Comをチェックして、GPSのつながっているComで機種&バージョンチェックをした上で、必要なアップデートのファイルを読み込んで作業を開始します。
